This is a piece, entitled, “Portrait of the Artist with Two Teenage Daughters,” that I did for an upcoming gallery group show called “The Virgin Show.” The show was put together by the irrepressible Kyle Neswald and Joe Olivares. Kyle has put up a mySpace page about the show here.
The Virgin Show is at the Lost Souls Cafe, which is a very cool space in the old bank district of downtown Los Angeles, and the opening reception is Friday, October 27, 7-10pm. It should be a lot of fun, and I’m looking forward it.
The address is: 124 W. 4th Street, Los Angeles, 90013.

Thanks for the comments, everyone!
Isaac: I’m going to post something new, soon. Fortunately, I’ve been ridiculously busy lately. Unfortunately, I can’t post any of the work because it either hasn’t aired or hasn’t been published yet.
Bobby: I just got your most recent Imaginism Studios magazine, and it’s very cool. I can’t wait for the next issue about “Subway Sketches” since that brings back fond memories of when I was a teenager in NY, drawing on the subway, both literally and figuratively.
Take care,
Rocco

Very cool, Frank. I like the stark palette. And the sentiment…well, that’s why I had boys!

Hi Frank,
I love it!
For our family, I would have to add a yoga mat, a boxing bag and a radar, all ‘tools’ for the mother.
